So, what is Tyndal Effect? [aka "TE"]

The easy explanation is: Linear light shining off microscopic particles in a solution. [It's a way to see the "colloidal" portion of your colloidal/ionic silver water. Ions are too small for visible light to refract or reflect off of, so, you can't see ions. ]

The so called "ion cloud" is actually a particle cloud. If the particles are really small, they will also be invisible in diffused or room light but will be visible in coherent light. [There is no light more coherent than laser light.]

If the "TE" is faint, the Colloidal Silver batch is highly ionic and you may need to view the colloidal portion in a darkened room.

Distilled water has no particles, so there will be no "TE"

The image below was taken of a 24PPM batch made with a Series 2 generator sitting in a window sill in the morning light. [not a darkened room]

It is not highly ionic as compared to most brews of the same PPM.

As you can see, it also has no color which indicates that none of the particles present are of the larger variety.
